Taste of Milford has payback
Thursday, June 9, 2011
MILFORD – The second annual A Taste Of Milford was a success, selling out for the second year in a row.
The fundraiser for the Downtown Ongoing Improvement Team was held last Friday evening, and DO-IT Director Tracy Hutchins said it was gratifying that so many ticket purchasers were Milford residents.
Restaurants that donated their food and time were Artisans Cafe, Amigos Mexican Cantina, B&D Bagels, Cafe On the Oval, Carole’s Cake Creations, Foodees Pizza, adn Giorgios Ristorante, the Good Loaf, Jade Dragon, Papa Joe’s Humble Pie, The Pasta Loft, The Red Arrow Diner, The Riverhouse Cafe, The Rustic Leaf Bistro, The Stocked Fridge, Tiebreakers at Hampshire Hills, Trombly Farm, The Union Street Grill, Windows On West at Milford High School and The Yankee Chef.
Other downtown businesses hosted some of the events and DO-IT volunteers helped out.
Proceeds will help to support DO-IT’s ongoing programs, including the facade grant program, holiday decorations and the revolving loan fund.
