CONCORD – Brenda Marion (Parker) Freeman, 63, of Concord died Thursday, February 2, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family.
Brenda was born in Waterville, Maine on October 21, 1948 a daughter of Kenneth and Alice (Hutchinson) Parker. At the age of 16, her family relocated to Nashua where she met the love of her life, Johnnie Freeman.
She is predeceased by her parents Kenneth Parker, and Alice (Hutchinson) Parker, her husband Johnnie Freeman, and her brothers, George Parker, and Russell Varney Sr.
Brenda was employed for many years by Sprague Electric in Nashua and retired from EPVA in Wilton.
She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending her time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Boone-Grantham and her husband, Richard of Concord; her son, Jason Freeman and his wife, Apriel of Milford; 2 brothers, James Varney and his wife, Joan of Nashua and Jon Varney and his wife, Ramona of Jackman, ME; 4 grandchildren, Desirae, Jasmine, and Felicia Boone all of Concord and Lawrence Freeman of Milford, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 9 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 10. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Friends and family are welcome to luncheon at the family’s home in Concord following the funeral service.
The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
