Roger Landry

Roger Landry, 68, passed away with his family by his side on February 7, 2012, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, NH, after a brief illness.
He was born on April 24, 1943 in Nashua, NH, son of Robert R. and Anna M. (Dube) Landry.
Roger served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1967 as a member of the Sixth US Army at Fort MacArthur, California.
Throughout his working career, he had been employed as a carpenter/woodworker for various companies before beginning his own company, Custom Interiors, which he operated for the past 25 years.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Christine Andersen and her husband, Steven, of Temple; his son, Timothy Landry and his girlfriend, Catherine Whalen, of Henniker; his son, Jaime Landry and his wife, Rebecca, of Jaffrey; seven grandchildren: Owen Andersen of Temple; Amanda, Kaitlin and Connor Landry of Henniker; Gage, Dakota and Sierra Landry of Jaffrey; two stepgrandchildren: Tanya Bosse of Greenfield and Nicholas Andersen of Burlington, VT; a sister, Constance DeShiro and her husband, Anthony, of Ijamsville, MD; a brother, Gerald Landry of Nashua; his former wife and mother of his children, Joan Landry of Jaffrey; several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and many close friends. He is predeceased by his parents.
As per his request, there will be no calling hours. A graveside service with military honors will be held on April 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the South Cemetery in Lyndeborough, NH. Reverend Olivia Holmes of Temple will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Temple Volunteer Fire Department Association, PO Box 80, Temple NH 03084. The Cremation Society of NH is assisting the family with the arrangements.
