BOYS HOCKEY

Dec. 21: Souhegan 12, Laconia 0

Joe Stacy and Mike Hayden each had hat tricks as the Sabers cruised to a 4-0 start on the Division III regular season. Other scorers included Connor Casey and Steve Upton (two goals apiece), and Ben Ehrlich and Paul Stacy with a goal each. Junior goalie Ryan Peterson earned his first shutout of the season.

WRESTLING

Dec. 21: Milford 66, Souhegan 12

The Spartans took 11 of 13 matches in a rout over the rival Sabers. Milford winners, all by pin, included JT Bellantoni at 106 pounds, Dominic Nguyen at 113, Thomas Scannell at 126, Devin Dolliver at 132, Calbeb Wright (138), Joe Pellitteri (145), Connor Borne (152), Scott Dannewicz (160), Andrew Myers (170), Joe Albina (182) and Andrew Bellantoni (285).

Souhegan winners, both by pin, were Connor Chareth at 120 and Cameron Crook at 220. The Spartans will split their squad next Wednesday between the Lowell (Mass.) and Keene holiday tournaments.
