Michelle L. Hudon, 37, of Merrimack died peacefully at home Thursday September 3, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born February 8, 1972, in Manchester, and was the daughter of Richard Sr. and Arlene (Walas) Hudon. She was raised and educated in Merrimack, and was a 1990 graduate of Merrimack High School. Prior to returning to Merrimack, Michelle had resided in Hancock for many years. Michelle was employed as a manager and bartender at the Italian Club in Keene, as well as a homemaker and mother of three boys.
She loved the great outdoors and spending time with her boys. She enjoyed camping, was formerly an avid softball player, loved spending time with family and friends and will long be remembered for her all around love of life.
Michelle was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary of Merrimack.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Hudon, Jr. in 1997, and Thomas W. Hudon in 2006. In addition to her parents of Merrimack, family includes her three sons, Gregory, Bryan and Anthony, all of Merrimack, former husband and best friend, Tim Guilmette, sister-in-law Peggy Hudon, an uncle and aunt Jack and Lorette Hudon, and her niece and nephews, Todd, Travis, Katie and Tom Hudon, as well as three special friends, Priscilla, Wendy and Kim and many others. Calling hours were Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the George R. Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, a funeral service followed at 7 p.m., and the family is planning a private burial.
