Adams, Denehy for selectmen
Friday, March 8, 2013
Ron Pelletier
To the Editor:
I would like to encourage the residents of the town of Brookline to support Susan Adams for the office of selectman by getting out and casting a ballot on her behalf.
I have known Susan and her family for several years.
In addition to doing business with them, I am currently serving on the Economic Development Committee with Susan. This first-hand involvement with her on such an important committee has shown that she has the knowledge and ability to serve as a Brookline selectman.
I believe she will be an asset to the board. Susan has a desire to see Brookline prosper and still maintain the small-town feel and rural character that has been repeatedly mentioned in the many surveys conducted over the years. It is time to bring in new leadership and an open mind to the board. It is time for a change.
Cast your vote for Susan Adams as a selectman in March.
I would also like to encourage the residents of Brookline to support Brendan Denehy for the office of selectman.
I have known Brendan and his family for many years, as he as well as I have lived in town for many years.
Brendan knows the town well and some of the history.
We need someone who will continue to increase openness and transparency to the board and the town.
We need someone who is open-minded about the future of the town. who can aid in the future economic development of the town and still maintain the rural character that everyone wants.
Brendan has shown interest and fiscal responsibility in the town by working on the Facility Committee and Safety Complex Building Committee.
It is time for a change. Fresh ideas and fiscal responsibility. Vote for Brendan Denehy for selectman.
