‘Anything Goes’ at Hollis Brookline High School

HOLLIS – Get ready to set sail on an ocean liner from New York to London and some madcap adventures as the Hollis Brookline High School Drama Club presents its spring musical, “Anything Goes.”

Stowaway Billy Crocker is in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy No. 13, Moonface Martin, aid Crocker in his quest to win Hope.

The music and lyrics are by Cole Porter and include such familiar songs as “Anything Goes,””You’re the Top,” and “I Get a Kick Out of You.”

The production is directed by Elyse Tomlinson, with music by Julia Carbone and choreography by Cora Zingales and Jenn Beaudry. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, March 21 and March 28, 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 29. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors and students, and can be purchased at or by calling 672-2030.
