Adult Learning Center
The Adult Learning Center in Nashua has announced that the following local residents recently passed their GED tests.

aSSUMPTION college
The following local students were named to the dean’s list for the spring 2010 semester at Assumption College in Worcester, Mass.
FROM BROOKLINE: Siobhan E. Kelley, daughter of Kathleen Kelly.
Patrick O’Kane, of Hollis, a rising junior, was recognized in May on the Student Athlete Honor Roll at Assumption College in Worcester, Mass. This is the third time in two years he has achieved honor roll status. He was named as the Northeast-10 Conference Ice Hockey Player-of-the-Year and received the Andrew Laska Award as the top male athlete at Assumption College. He has been named team captain for the 2010-11 season.
Bates College
Conor B. Sullivan, of Hollis, graduated this spring from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and received a bachelor’s degree in economics magna cum laude. Sullivan was also inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious academic honor society. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Sullivan and a 2006 graduate of Bishop Guertin High School.
Boston College
The following local students graduated from Boston College.

College of the Holy Cross
Elizabeth L. Quaglieri, daughter of Philip and Maureen Quaglieri of Brookline, was named to the spring 2010 dean’s list at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass. She is a rising fourth-year student majoring in Spanish and fine arts.

Emory University
Danielle Thompson, of Brookline, received a Bachelor of Arts degree this spring from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. She is the daughter of Keith B. Thompson and Patricia J. Thompson.

Lyndon State College
Scott Baker, of Hollis, earned the dean’s list for the spring semester at Lyndon State College in Lyndon Center, Vt. He is a junior majoring in digital and graphic arts.
MIT
Quentin Smith, son of Phillip and Gina Smith of Hollis, graduated from MIT on June 4 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. As an undergraduate, Smith was active in several organizations, serving as Technology Director for The Tech, MIT’s newspaper, as Chief of Information Technology for the Undergraduate Association, MIT’s student government, and on the Executive Committee for the Student Information Processing Board, a student group focused on advancing MIT’s computing capabilities and assisting those who use them. He also served as Treasurer of the MIT Radio Society and Governor of the Tech Model Railroad Club. Smith will pursue graduate studies at MIT in the fall.
Middlesex Community College
