Beaver Brook Fall Festival nature art exhibit schedule

The Beaver Brook Fall Festival is centered around a free nature art exhibit on Sept. 29 and 30, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m., featuring the work of more than 70 artists. The featured artist is Shel Michaels, a photographer from Hollis. The art is on display in the Maple Hill Barn at Beaver Brook, 117 Ridge Road in Hollis. The 32nd Fall Festival schedule:


1 and 3 p.m. – Wingmasters’ Live Birds of Prey.

Noon-1 p.m. – Calico Toad presents Songs of the Forest, with Amy Conley, Mike Loce and Rick Carr on banjo, guitar and percussion.

4-5 p.m. – Tina & Sierra Landel will play fiddle and guitar music.

2-3 p.m. – A guided hike with a Beaver Brook naturalist.


1-2 p.m. and 3-4 p.m. – Eyes on Owls live owl show.

11 a.m.-noon – Amy Conley presents Babes in the Woods, music about animals and nature for children and adults.

Noon-1 p.m. – Robie Bones on guitar.

2-3 p.m. – Harmonica Saints sing-a-long.

4-5 p.m. – Kip Ferguson on guitar.

2-3 p.m. – A guided hike to the wigwam with Native American stories.

Ongoing throughout
the weekend

Children’s nature crafts and cider pressing, spinning demonstrations, informative displays on creating butterfly gardens, bluebird ecology and historic farm tools.

A raffle with nearly $2,000 of merchandise, homemade food and dried herbal and flower arrangements available for sale.
