Greater Nashua Relay to hold kickoff

Relay For Life is the main volunteer-driven fundraising event of the American Cancer Society.
The main objective of Relay is to raise money for cancer research and cancer patients, the event is held to spread cancer awareness, celebrate the lives of survivors, remember those who lost their lives to cancer and unite a community in the fight against cancer.
The Greater Nashua Relay For Life will have its 2013 kickoff at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Weathervane Seafood Restaurant in Nashua. The event helps raise money for the American Cancer Society. Mayor Donnalee Lozeau will speak at 7 p.m.
The Greater Nashua Relay begins at 6 p.m., June 14, and runs until June 15 at Nashua High School North.
