Dinner helps Humane Society
Friday, January 18, 2013
NASHUA – Relax and unwind with friends at The Saffron Bistro on Monday, Jan. 28, as the restaurant hosts its fifth annual dinner to benefit the Humane Society for Greater Nashua.
The dinner begins at 6 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person and include tax and gratuity. A portion of each ticket sold directly benefits the shelter’s pets. The Humane Society for Greater Nashua is the second busiest shelter in the state, and fundraisers like this provide food, shelter and medical care to more than 2,500 pets every year.
The menu for the benefit dinner includes a mixed organic greens salad and entree choices, including pan-roasted salmon with lemon dill sauce, crispy Parmesan chicken breast with fire roasted tomatoes and herb ricotta spread, and portobello stuffed mushrooms with brioche and roasted vegetable stuffing and melted fontina cheese. Also included are gourmet sides and strawberry shortcake, coffee and tea. A cash bar also will be available.
Attendees will have a chance to win raffle items. Tickets can be purchased by calling the shelter at 889-BARK (2275), ext. 35, or emailing noelle@hsfn.org. Tickets also are available at The Saffron Bistro on 80 Main St., Nashua.
