Group seeks to protect abused children in New Hampshire

MANCHESTER – Skip the stamps and ditch the ballpoint pens. Applying to Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire just became a lot easier.

In an effort to increase its capacity to be able to serve 100 percent of the state’s abused and neglected children, CASA announced it has developed a volunteer application that can be submitted online.

The questions are the same; the avenue for submitting an application is all that has changed.

For 25 years, CASA of N.H. has strived to protect every abused child’s right to live, learn and grow in the embrace of a loving family. CASA of N.H. is statewide nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children in the family courts. Volunteers are thoroughly screened and participate in a 40-hour training program.
