Friday, September 5, 2014

Golf, giveaways and great food are on the horizon for the CBM Cares Golf Classic benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua and Greater Salem.

The tournament will be held Friday, Sept. 19, at Amherst Country Club.

The tourney is in its 12th year as one of Big Brothers Big Sisters’ signature fundraising events. Money raised supports the more than 275 mentor matches throughout southern New Hampshire.

Single player and foursome rates include cart and green fees, coffee and morning pastries, lunch on the course and an end-of-day barbecue provided by Texas Roadhouse. Golfers will also receive gifts from Dixon Golf and a number of local businesses at an on-course expo. A raffle and auction will cap off the day’s events.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua and Greater Salem matches volunteer mentors in 16 area communities with local children ages 6-17 who face adversities in their lives. More than 100 children are waiting to be matched.

To register as a single player or foursome, or for more information about becoming a corporate sponsor for the event, contact Denise Morrison at 883-4851 or denise@bbbsnashua.org.
