Rotary to host annual Family Brunch
Friday, January 4, 2013
The Hollis-Brookline Rotary Club will again offer a fine selection of brunch cuisine, as well as entertainment, at their annual Family Brunch. The event will be held Superbowl Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Alpine Grove Banquet Facility in Hollis.
The event runs from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., and you will have plenty of time to get home to watch the big game after a great meal with family and friends.
It is nice to see how so many people mix with old friends they have not seen all year, and how families, young and old, enjoy catching up while enjoying so many various dishes.
A sampling of the menu includes Steamship roast beef, buttermilk pancakes, roast turkey, baked ham, fresh eggs, fresh breads, bagels, muffins. bacon, sausage, hash, baked beans, home fries, coleslaw, fresh fruits, veggies, juices, pies, pastries, cheeses and crackers, not to mention the endless coffee, tea and cocoa. Something for every pallet.
Buy for two or get a table for the whole family or your neighborhood. Help our many charitable causes, while enjoying a great time out.
The cost is $20 now or $25 at the door; children younger than 10 eat free. The event also includes clowns and balloon animals.
Tickets are available online at www.hbrotary.com/BrunchTickets.htm, at the Hollis Pharmacy or from any friendly Rotarian.
Please help Santa (and your local HB Rotary Club) continue to do its great work.
