Brookline woman speaks at Applewild

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Catherine Cook of Brookline recently spoke to the seventh grade geography classes at Applewild School in Fitchburg about her experiences in Suriname as a Peace Corps volunteer. Cook is a graduate of the Applewild, class of 2001, went on to Gould Academy in Maine, and graduated from St. Michael’s College in Burlington, Vt., before joining the Peace Corps.
