Thanks from Ron Paul campaign
Friday, January 27, 2012
To the Editor:
As the Hollis area coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign, I would like to personally thank all the voters who took the time to come out on primary day to cast their vote for Ron Paul.
Thanks to Dr. Paul’s consistent message of peace, freedom and prosperity, the number of voters in Hollis who put their support behind our candidate in this election quadrupled from 2008.
I can’t express my gratitude to all the people who took the time to stand in the freezing cold to hold signs for Ron Paul on primary day.
In past elections, for other candidates, I have had to ask and sometimes beg people to volunteer. Not this time!
People were contacting me to ask how they could help and even jumping in line with us to hold signs at the polls after coming to vote.
The camaraderie and electricity that our candidate, Ron Paul, and he message produces is unlike anything I have ever experienced before.
I know that many of you who voted for Ron Paul are new to his message of peace, freedom and limited government and many have asked me how they can get involved with or without his eventual nomination.
I would like to invite anyone who has had the fire of activism ignited in them to contact me via e-mail at rpeik@charter.net to find out what other groups or organizations are available in the area which will continue this message long after this election is over.
Once again, thank you for your support.
LESLIE PEIK
