Rotary Club raises funds for BBBS
Friday, February 10, 2012
For the second year, the Hollis Brookline Rotary Club participated in the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids’ Sake,” a 10-pin fundraiser.
The Hollis Brookline Rotary Club snatched the second-place award, bested only by the much-larger Nashua North club. Our intrepid bowlers nosed out Milford and other area clubs to bring home the funds.
Two Hollis Brookline High School Interact teams also competed.
The team raised more than $750 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Nashua and Salem. Congratulations to this year’s terrific team, which included Julie “Lane Master” Rowland, Kevin “Killer” Rowland, Bob “The Hammer” Cormier, Captain Seth “I Gotcha Covered” Tebbetts and “Sneaky” Mike O’Neill. Finally, thanks to all those friends, family and other supporters who came to cheer on our team.
