HOCKEY
Hollis Cavaliers Bantam 1
The Hollis Cavaliers went 2-0 for the weekend, outscoring their opponents 12-1 in the two games played. The Cavs defeated Wakefield, Mass., 6-1 and Winchester, Mass., 6-0. Playing smart, with no let up for both games and winning the little battles were the keys to success. Goal scorers were Evan Conners, Gordon Sears (two), Jack Ruonala, Jeremiah Latham, Dalton Doire (three), Brett Pitre (two), Cameron Richall and Sean Chipman. Assists came from Latham (four), Richall (four), Tyler Roberge (two), Sears, Doire, Evan Daskolas, Alex Fagan and Jack Shields. Solid defensive efforts from John McPartlen and James Young helped keep opportunities from the opposition to a minimum. Another excellent outing between the pipes was turned in by goalie Curtis Richall.
