Hollis/Brookline Fall Sports Awards

Hollis/Brookline High School and Athletic Booster Club recognized several student athletes for their outstanding achievement during the fall season. Following are the winners of awards in each fall sport on varsity, JV and freshman squads.
Varsity and JV Girls Soccer award winners: Briana Bruinooge (MVP), Allison Walton (Coaches’ Award), Amanda Salamone (Coaches’ Award), Isabelle Linder (JV Most Improved Player), Heather Regan (JV Coaches’ Award).
Varsity, JV and Freshman Boys Soccer award winners: Evan Porter (JV Most Improved Player), Jake Laurent (Coaches’ Award), Jeff Kulpa (Leadership Award), Alex Reynolds (JV Most Valuable Player), Honza Havlena (Offensive Player of the Year), Mike Pattelena (Freshman Coaches’ Award), Sam Langley (Freshman MVP Award), Andrew Cappetta (Players’ Player Award).
Varsity, JV-A and JV-B Girls Volleyball award winners: Kristyn Glover (Coaches’ Award), Ari Creighton (Offensive Player of the Year), Kelsey Berry (Leadership Award), Audrey Johnson (JV-A Offensive Player of the Year), Jessica Ciarcia (JV-A Defensive Player of the Year), Kaitlyn Kozsan (JV-B Coaches’ Award), Molly McAndrews (JV-B Leadership Award), Emily Cook (JV-B Coaches’ Award).

Football award winners (Varsity, JV and Freshman): David Caponigro (Most Improved Player), Colin Pellerin (Most Valuable Player), Nate Ferenczhalmy (Coaches Award), Sean Connors (Coaches Award), Max Friedman (JV Most Valuable Player), Patch Zorn (Freshman Coaches’ Award), Jack Collins (JV Coaches’ Award), Joe Spohn (JV Most Improved Player), Killian Jeffreys (Freshman MVP).
Girls and Boys Cross Country award winners: Mark Lorden (Boys Coaches’ Award), Steven Rossetti (Boys Most Improved), Brian McAndrews (Bravo Zulu), Sean Flannery (Boys MVP), Meghan Philpot (Girls MVP), Mary Martin (Bravo Zulu), Emma Newton (Girls Most Improved), Emily Benz (Girls Coaches’ Award).
Varsity and JV Field Hockey award winners: Alyssa Rich (JV Team MVP), Caitlin Sweeney (Leadership Award), Gwynne Noel (Sportsmanship Award), Leda Kennedy (Dedication Award), Shelby Kuchta (JV Most Improved Player), Stephanie Burns (JV Coaches’ Award). All three JV awardees are freshmen.
