Mountain landscape, waterfall photos on exhibit at Wilton library

Thursday, January 19, 2012

WILTON – Inspiring photographs of mountain landscapes and waterfalls will fill the rotunda of Wilton’s library in January.

Bob and Sandy Dahlinger, of Lyndeborough, hike throughout New England and Canada with their cameras as constant companions in search of mountain scenery and expected and unexpected waterfalls. Bob’s photographs of early mornings and tranquil evenings in mountainous terrain complement Sandy’s, which capture the essence of spraying water and even the scent of moist moss on water-soaked rocks. Bob points out that his silver-gelatin prints are processed the old-fashioned way, without using a computer or digital enhancement. Both Dahlingers are graduates of the New Hampshire Institute of Art.

The Wilton Public and Gregg Free Library is at 7 Forest Road in Wilton. For more information, call 654-2581 or visit wiltonlibrarynh.org.
