Candidates to discuss agriculture at dairy farm in Temple

TEMPLE – Join Cheshire and Hillsborough County residents and hear congressional and New Hampshire Senate candidates discuss state and federal policies that affect local agricultural communities such as local farms, food accessibility and land conservation. The two events will be held at Connolly Brothers Dairy Farm in Temple, with complimentary ice cream for attendees.

On Monday, July 23, Democratic candidates Ann McLane Kuster, who is vying for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District, and Lee Nyquist, vying for State Senate District 9, will speak. The second event will be held Thursday, Aug. 16, with Republican candidates Congressman Charlie Bass, for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District, and Andy Sanborn and Ken Hawkins, candidates for State Senate District 9. The public is encouraged to participate in this open, conversational forum led by a local agricultural professional. Both events will begin at 6:30 p.m. and are free to attend, but preregistration is appreciated.
