Milford DAR to sell mugs at Pumpkin Festival to benefit high school scholarships
Thursday, October 4, 2012
The Milford/Amherst Daughters of the American Revolution Captain Josiah Crosby Chapter is proud to be presenting Milford coffee mugs for sale at the Milford Pumpkin Festival on Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 6-7.
The etched design of the Milford gazebo is by local artist Marianne Stillwagon. The proceeds from these mugs fund the sponsorship of the Good Citizen Award to the local high schools – Milford, Wilton-Lyndeborough, High Mowing and Souhegan.
The mug serves as a perfect souvenir of this festive event or to give as a gift. The mugs will be on sale for $10 in front of The Frame Depot.
DAR, founded in 1890, is a nonprofit women’s organization that honors and preserves the legacy of our patriot ancestors. Members actively promote patriotism, preserve American history and secure America’s future through better education for children.
