Milford artist in one-person show

NEW LONDON – Sheli Petersen, of Milford, a fine artist and children’s book illustrator is exhibiting her work in a one-person show sponsored by Lake Sunapee Region Center for the Arts Micro Galleries.
The exhibition will be on view through May 3 at the Millstone Restaurant in New London. Petersen’s drawings portray New England wildlife and landscapes, excerpts from an illustrated middle grade novel for children, and more.
Petersen’s art has been displayed regionally and nationally at various venues including The Currier Museum of Art, The Danforth Museum of Art, Creative Quarterly, and The National Heritage Museum. Her children’s books are published by Laredo Publishing, Renaissance House, and McGraw-Hill.
