Got Books donations help church
Thursday, January 21, 2010
To the editor:
The community of faith of the St. James United Methodist Church in Merrimack would like to thank everyone who has donated books to their Got Books program. Got Books is a drop-off donation container for residents, businesses and others who wish to contribute books they no longer use and would like to repurpose, while also raising money for the mission projects of the church.
Because of your generosity, we were able to send money earned from the proceeds of this program to the earthquake victims of Haiti.
The gray book donation container, distinguished by its purple and yellow signs, is in the parking lot of the church, 646 Daniel Webster Highway. Merrimack. Donations may be made at any time.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please call the church office at 424-7459 or E.J. at 424-3165.
Thank you again for your donations that are helping us to help others.
E. JUNE JOHNSEN
Mission Program chairperson
