Generosity applauded by Tolles Street Mission

To the Editor:

The Board of Directors and members of the Tolles Street Mission would like to thank the Nashua community, as well as neighboring areas, for making the recent 2009 Christmas Celebration a success.

Your love, donations, and volunteering of time made the holiday happy for many families, especially the children.

Specifically, we thank the Boys and Girls Club of Nashua for accommodating the event at their facilities again this year, as well as the gifts donated to the event. Thank you to our community TV Bulletin for publicly broadcasting the event. We also thank the Department of Parks and Recreation of Nashua for donating tables and chairs for the Christmas Celebration, and also to Toys for Tots who came through right on time with gifts that made all the difference for so many children.

To our church community who gave, we appreciate you for your prayer, time, and giving.

For all the volunteers, we couldn’t have done this without you, and we thank you for giving your time and talents.

Because of the tremendous outpouring of gifts, the Tolles Street Mission was also able to give to the Nashua Children’s Home, and to families in communities outside of New Hampshire.

To those whom we have not specifically mentioned, we thank you.

God bless each and everyone, and have a prosperous, healthy New Year.
