Merrimack Rocks follows expo

MERRIMACK – The seventh annual Merrimack Fall Festival Business Expo will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28, at Mastricola Upper Elementary School, 26 Baboosic Lake Road.
It is a rain or shine event.
Organizers of the free event have partnered with a multitude of businesses and civic organizations to present the festival, an event initiated and overseen by the Merrimack Town Council, part of the town of Merrimack.
The event showcases businesses, crafters and a variety of civic groups and community organizations. Owners and representatives of scores of local and regional businesses are looking forward to an opportunity for meeting the citizens of Merrimack and showing residents the many products and services easily accessible within the town and surrounding communities.
This year’s event at the Mastricola School complex will offer inside venues and outside venues. Admission is free and the public from Merrimack and elsewhere is welcome to attend.
More than 125 businesses, organizations and crafters will be on-hand. Food will be available from many Merrimack restaurants. There will be a live music extravaganza featuring Siroteau and The Curly Jones Band.
There also will be dance, karate, K9, fire department and Taser demonstrations. Bernie Del Llano, of Perfect Entertainment, who will also be overseeing karaoke throughout the day, will host this year’s event.
The Merrimack Fall Festival Business Expo will have plenty of entertainment for children and adults. Visit with the Red Sox Mascot – Wally the Green Monster. See the animals from McDonny’s Petting Farm. Bring a cameras and have pictures taken with Wally or with the animals.
Many of the areas most popular restaurants will be on-hand selling food, including soup, hamburgers, hot dogs, sausages, pizza, cupcakes, cakes and pastries.
Parking will be available at the O’Gara Drive parking lots and at the Our Lady of Mercy parking lot. There will be shuttle buses operating throughout the day.
