Staff, parents donate to food pantry
Thursday, March 11, 2010
St. James Community Food Pantry Director Donna Johnson (right) accepts Shaws gift cards from Lindsey Finken and her daughter on behalf of Reeds Ferry Elementary School Parent Faculty Assocation, which also donated more than 30 boxes of food and toiletries from the school’s third annual food drive held last fall. Students from Pre-K through fourth grade contributed to the food drive to benefit St. James Community Food Pantry in Merrimack, which provides food for more than 80 families. The next local school food drive will be at James Mastricola Elementary School in March. For more information about volunteering or accessing support, call Donna 546-8379.
