Randy William Lamont, 22 of Merrimack passed away August 11, 2009, in Nashua peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Nashua on Aug. 9, 1987, a son of Melissa Lamont of Merrimack and the late William Cavanaugh.

Randy was a lifelong resident of Merrimack and was a graduate of Merrimack High School Class of 2006. He was employed at the Meineke Car Care Center in Amherst as an ASE Certified Technician.

Randy was good hearted, loving and lived life to the fullest. His interests included snowboarding, skateboarding, working on cars and spending time with his family and friends. Randy was considered to be loyal and protective of those closest to him and always giving of his time and generosity.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a grandmother, Lucille Robitaille, and a grandfather, John Sprague.

He will be sadly missed by his mother; a sister Devan Hilton, of Merrimack; stepfather John Hilton of Weare; his grandparents, Dennis and Sheila Pelletier of Manchester, Peter Lamont of Manchester, Gail Sprague of Merrimack, and Robert Robitaille of Manchester; and several aunts and uncles, Keith Luf and Marie Lamont of Beverly, Mass., Elizabeth Cote of Nashua, Jason and Cheri Lemire of Unity, Gary and Valarie Thorgerson of New Boston, and Jason Hilton, Lowell, Mass., Bob and Brenda Pelletier, Daniel Pelletier and Derek Pelletier; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Calling hours were held in the George R. Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Aug. 14 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 10 a.m. Those wishing to express their sympathy may make memorial donations in Randy’s name, to Merrimack D.A.R.E Program, C/O Merrimack Police Dept., 31 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH 03054.
