Jessie E. Meader, 91, of Nashua died Monday, Aug. 24, 2009, at the Hunt Community in Nashua after a period of declining health.
She was born in Nashua on Feb. 15, 1918, a daughter of the late William and Helen (Thomson) Esson.
Mrs. Meader was a lifelong resident of the Merrimack, Nashua and Hudson area, and was a Nashua High School graduate, class of 1935.
Before retirement, she was employed at Improved Machine/Ingersoll Rand, and also had worked at Nashua Gum & Coded Paper and Nashua Memorial Hospital, both in Nashua, and Reeds Ferry School in Merrimack.
She was the widow of Henry A. Meader, whom she married April 25, 1943.
Members of her family include several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack, Friday at 11 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to a charity of one’s choice.
