Women will lose rights under Santorum
Friday, January 20, 2012
To the Editor:
Here is my prediction of how our country will change for women if Rick Santorum becomes president of the United States:
Contraception and all abortions will become illegal. Women, if they didn’t die in childbirth, would have no choice but to stay at home for years caring for children they could ill afford. Once children are of school age, women can buckle down and start the home schooling, since Santorum will likely rid us of our public schools, leaving only religious schools or home schooling as the only options for education. Women will not be allowed in the workforce. Procreation is their job. What awaits us after our “intrusive” government is shrunk to nothing? A country where the church decides, courtesy of Mr. Santorum and the Republican party.
