Celebrate 100 years of Girl Scouts

MANCHESTER – March 12 marks the 100th birthday of the largest girl-serving educational organization in the country.
Girl Scouts of the Green and White Mountains will celebrate 100 years of building girls of courage, confidence and character at its Girltopia Expo on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Saint Anselm College. The Expo runs from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Carr Center. Preregistration is $5 a person; $7 at the door. There will be interactive exhibits and booths from museums and family-friendly businesses, a Girl Scouts through the years fashion show at 1 p.m., an improv stage, a “Cake-Off” competition, raffles, food and fun for the whole family. The event is sponsored by Northwestern Mutual, Northeast Delta Dental and Body Covers.
