Rotary hosts annual 4 Way Speech Contest

The Merrimack Rotary Club is hosting the annual Rotary 4 Way Speech Contest for Merrimack residents who are students in grades 9-12.
The contest goals are to develop the study and communication of the Rotary Four Way Speech Test as a moral and ethical model for behavior, decision making and life practice through a speech contest for high school students.
This will involve broad participation in the contest by students, teachers, schools, parents, Rotarians and others. Competition is open to private and home school students.
The competition will be held at Merrimack High School at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 21, in the Little Theater.
The local winner will then compete at finals in Henniker on April 29. Financial prizes are awarded. Applications and rules can be obtained by going to the Merrimack Public Library or Mrs. Jan Moynihan-Cooney, Mrs. Diana Plantier, at Merrimack High School.
