James P. Hennas, 46 of Merrimack, NH died Sunday December 4, 2011 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a long illness.

He was born in Boston, MA on Jan. 26, 1965 a son of George Hennas of Merrimack, and the late Nancy Marie (Gallen) Hennas who died in 1993.

Jim was a longtime resident of Merrimack and was a 1983 Graduate of Merrimack High School. 1986 Graduate of University of New Hampshire’s Thompson School for Forest Technology.

He was co-owner of Atomic Tree Service.

He enjoyed skiing, woodworking, and being with friends and family. He will be most remembered for his giving nature and sense of humor.

Members of his family, include his wife of 22 years, Susan (Dube) Hennas, of Merrimack and three children, Sydney, Mackenzie and Nathan, a brother Michael and his wife, Michele Hennas of Amherst, and two sisters and brother in-laws, Susan and Nick Theodorou, of Hanover, MA and Christine and Robert Swick of Bartlett, IL, a godmother Brenda McCrann and several nieces, nephews, friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours are in the Rivet Funeral Home& Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH Thursday Dec. 8, 2011 from 2-4 & 6-9 PM. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH Friday at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
