Electrologist attends seminar
Friday, December 16, 2011
Patricia Stefanski and electrologists from all over the world gathered in Nashville, Tenn., at the American Electrology Association’s annual Convention and Exhibitors’ Showcase.
Electrologists, permanent hair removal practitioners, gathered at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center on Oct. 28-30, for the largest gathering of electrology professionals from all over the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.
This year, the convention focused on helping electrologists improve themselves, their skills and their practices. Attendees heard expert speakers discuss a wide range of topics including PCOS, cardiovascular disease, laser vs. electrolysis, sterilization and infection control, emergency situations, treating the ethnic skin tones, social media and professional liability insurance.
In addition to the lectures, Stefanski, a licensed and certified electrologist of Electrolysis 2000, was able to check out new equipment and products at the Exhibitors’ Showcase.
For 26 years, the American Electrology Association’s International Board of Electrologist Certification program and credential, the Certified Professional Electrologist, served to create a national standard of excellence and has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to continuing education in the field of electrology.
Stefanski, owner of Electrolysis 2000, has been providing permanent hair removal since 1990. For more information, visit www.electrology.com or www.electrolysis2000.com, or call 424-4200.
