HOCKEY
Schaller leads Providence
Tim Schaller of Merrimack is the leading scorer so far this season for the Providence College hockey team.
The junior center has eight goals and two assists through 10 games. Schaller, who played junior hockey for the New England Huskies, had five goals and 14 assists in 34 games last winter.
He was named Hockey East player of the week on Nov. 7 after scoring four goals in two games, including his first career hat trick in a 5-2 victory over Vermont.

Cardinals to hold meeting
The Merrimack Cardinals football and spirit program will be holding its annual meeting on Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. at the MYA building. Voting will take place for all vacant positions for the board of directors. For more information, visit www.merrimackcardinals.org.
BASKETBALL
BBL looking for players
The Bedford Basketball League is accepting individual registrations for its girls high school basketball recreation league. The league is for girls in grades 9-12 looking for a fun environment to play a weekly game. The league plays at 10 a.m. or 11 a.m. Sundays from December-February at the Ross A. Lurgio Middle School in Bedford. Double elimination playoffs are in March. The girls high school league is the only division accepting non-resident registrations. BASEBALL
Dodgers looking for pitchers
The Merrimack Dodgers of the Granite State Over-30 Baseball League are looking for pitchers for the 2012 baseball season.
