SOCCER
Giacapuzzi helps team to fifth
Rebecca Giacapuzzi and the Finger Lakes Community College women’s soccer team placed fifth at the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship Tournament in Canandaigua, N.Y. FLCC also won the Region 3 Division III Tournament and finished the year with a record of 21-1-1. Giacapuzzi, a freshman from Merrimack, started for FLCC this year and was eighth in the nation in scoring in NJCAA Division III, and fifth in assists. She was named to the NJCAA Mid-State Athletic Conference first team, NJCAA all-region first team and NJCAA Region 3 all-tournament team.

Dodgers looking for pitchers
The Merrimack Dodgers of the Granite State Over-30 Baseball League are looking for pitchers for the 2012 baseball season.
