NH Housing receives $2 million

New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority has been awarded a $2.48 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to help continue its Lead Hazard Abatement Program. This marks the third time that HUD has provided funding for this program. The Authority’s Lead Hazard Abatement Program has aggressively pursued several programs to help building owners throughout New Hampshire remove lead paint from apartment buildings primarily serving the state’s low- and moderate-income families. The program has also funded inspections and training.
