Bedford PTG to host Ski and Skate Sale

The Bedford Parent-Teacher Group is set to excite the community’s ski-and-skate aficionados by hosting its annual Ski and Skate Sale, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 23, at Bedford High School, 47 Nashua St.

The winter fundraiser supports education programs for more than 4,400 students attending Bedford’s six public schools. Bedford’s grades K through 12 will benefit from the sale of new and consigned winter sports equipment and apparel from vendors and families throughout the community.

Items to be sold must be dropped off at the school’s gymnasium between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22. Families, couples and individuals all will find a market full of ski equipment, snow boards, hockey gear and other items, including winter wardrobe accessories. Organizers promise the Bedford PTG Ski and Skate Sale will provide a fun-filled and cost-effective opportunity to outfit anyone with gear for the upcoming season.

Winter sports merchants from throughout the region will be on-hand to provide expert support to fit the right ski, board and boots to match the buyer’s ability and size. Additionally, anyone is welcome to consign their own merchandise for sale to help make room for new gear.

New this year is the Bedford PTG’s online system for pricing and tagging participants’ equipment. Details about the sale and the new scanning system can be had online at Email organizer Michelle Labelle at or Adrienne Allen at for more information.

Everyone is invited to walk away geared up for winter fun at huge savings. Whether a pro or a beginner, there are products appropriate for all ages and abilities.

Enjoy sweets from a bake sale, enter a raffle for prizes and shop until it’s time to drop at this fun-filled family event. Major credit cards are accepted. Come early for the best deals.
