ARLNH Pets of the Week

Buffy

Buffy is an 11-year-old spayed female. She was transferred to the Animal Rescue League from the New Hampshire Humane Society because the ARLNH had very few cats up for adoption and they had more than 70! We chose Buffy because she got up and greeted us at the door, is beautiful and kept getting overlooked. She would do best in a cat-savvy home without young children.

NHHS said she ended up that the shelter because, sadly, her owner passed away. She was loved, spoiled and doted on in her previous home. Do not let her age fool you – this girl has plenty of spunk left! She can be set in her ways and will definitely tell you when she has had enough, but has lots of love to give. She tolerates the other cats and rules the roost.

Will you give this wonderful girl a home?

Duke

Hi there! My name is Duke and I am a 4-year-old terrier mix.

I would love if you came to meet me! I’m one of those dogs who enjoy getting brushed and I do love a good bath.

If you want to give me a treat, I will surprise you by sitting pretty and I know how to lay down on command.

I also walk well on a leash and enjoy being close with my human companion.

I am not a fan of cats or small dogs, so I would do best as your only loving pet.

Stop by and say hello!
