Bedford woman found dead in Rye waters
RYE – State police have identified a body found on Thursday, March 20, in the water in Rye as a Bedford woman. Police said they found 70-year-old Patricia Trow, of Bedford.
According to a press release, around 2:13 p.m. the state police’s Marine Patrol received a 911 call reporting a body in the water near Wallis Sands State Beach in Rye.
Marine Patrol officers responded with the U.S. Coast Guard and members of the Rye Police Department and found the then-unidentified victim.
Police said Friday, March 21, that the person is the water was Trow, and the incident wasn’t boat-related, nor did they expect foul play.
The incident remains under investigation.
