Bedford Community Television receives national media excellence award
Bedford Community Television recently received national recognition with a Media Excellence Award from the Partnership for Drug Free Kids.
The award was given for the station’s support in helping to educate parents and children on the dangers of drugs.
BCTV produced several shows that included representatives from both the national drug free organization as well as Drug Free New Hampshire.
BCTV also supported the drug awareness effort by running their own locally produced PSA’s as well as public service announcements provided by the Partnership for Drug Free Kids.
Bill Jennings, BCTV station manager, announced the award to the Town Council at their meeting Aug. 13.
