T-BONES brings in bucks for ARLNH
MANCHESTER – A “spin at the wheel” by T-Bones Bedford patrons brought in more than $7,500 for the animals at the Animal Rescue League of Bedford.
For a two-week period, a $5 spin got guests $5, $10, $15 or $25 off their next visit to T-Bones/Cactus Jacks with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the ARLNH.
The check presentation was made at the ARLNH Annual Pet Fair, which was held at Derryfield Park in Manchester on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Tanya Randolph, Community Outreach Coordinator for Great NH Restaurants, presented the large check along with her co-workers just minutes prior to their participation in the “My Dogs are Barking” 5k, which kicked off the day.
“We are so happy to help support the Animal Rescue League of NH for the third year in a row with the support of our guests,” says Randolph. “We’re an animal loving restaurant group and appreciate the tremendous work that the ARLNH does.”
The T-Bones team participated in the 5k run just minutes after the check presentation and won first place as the corporate fundraising team. Since 2012, the T-Bones team has raised more than $27,000 for the ARLNH with their annual “Spin the Wheel” fundraiser.
“The team spirit displayed by Tanya and her co-workers is incredibly inspirational,” says Karen Moynihan, Senior Director of Philanthropy for ARLNH. “We cannot thank them enough. We are grateful for the philanthropic spirit Great NH Restaurants practices and encourages among their employees, and we are incredibly thankful for their donation which makes a huge difference for the animals awaiting their homes.”
The Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire improves animal welfare in our communities by helping pets and the people who care for them.
