Nominations sought for Red Cross NH Heroes Breakfast

CONCORD – The American Red Cross New Hampshire Region is seeking hero nominations from community members for its 2015 Heroes Breakfast.

The nationwide event that recognizes and honors ordinary people with extraordinary courage will be held 7:30-9 a.m. Thursday, March 5, at Southern New Hampshire University’s dining and conference facility alongside Unitil Corp. as the title sponsor. Doors will open for registration and breakfast at 7.

New Hampshire residents are encouraged to nominate groups or individuals who have shown extraordinary courage in times of need or have made a positive impact in their community.

The Red Cross also welcomes businesses and individuals interested in sponsorship opportunities for the breakfast. Its ability to plan, prepare for, and respond to disasters and other life-threatening emergencies is funded primarily through individuals and businesses.
