Made In NH Expo shines spotlight on local products
MANCHESTER – The Made in NH Expo, to be held April 17-19 at the Radisson Hotel/Center of Center of New Hampshire in Manchester, has been a leader in the buy-local movement, raising awareness of local products that boost the economy while maintaining and creating jobs in the state.
The expo is also great way to experience the quality products and services that New Hampshire has to offer.
Expo attendees will “Try & Buy” products from new exhibitors and many returning favorites.
Exhibitors showcase thousands of items from fine woodworking, jewelry, books by local authors and home decor to artwork and bath and beauty products.
There are also plenty of tasty treats to tantalize the taste buds. Attendees will find baked delights, chocolate confections, gourmet popcorn, cookies for every preference, barbecue and hot sauces, olive oil, ice cream, wines, meads and more.
Known as the show that was all about buying local before buying local was cool, the expo is more than a shopping trip, it provides an experience for the entire family.
There will be live entertainment on the stage all weekend long. Past entertainment has featured a magician, caricature artist, bluegrass, pop and jazz musicians, bell ringers, steel drummers and dancing.
April 17, is Business-to-Business Day. Wholesale and retail buyers from across the Northeast and members of the New Hampshire Retail Merchants Association will make the expo their destination.
Expo hours are 1-8 p.m. Friday, April 17; 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday, April 18; and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, April 19.
The 20th annual expo is presented by Business NH Magazine and sponsored by People’s United Bank, WMUR and the New Hampshire Union Leader.
