Bedford Democrats announce town caucus

The Bedford Democrats will meet at 7 p.m., March 4, in the McAllaster Room of the Bedford Public Library to elect town Democratic officers and delegates to the New Hampshire Democratic Party state convention. Local Bedford Democratic Party officers and delegates have a vote at annual state Democratic Party conventions and input to the party platform.

“New Hampshire Democrats are already excited about working to elect responsible leaders for New Hampshire and Bedford. Our caucus provides a great opportunity for anyone who wants to be part of New Hampshire’s unique grassroots-style politics,” said Jerry Hanauer, the Bedford Democratic chair.

The caucus is free and open to all members of the public. Any registered Bedford Democrat, regardless of past political experience can run for an officer or a delegate position.

“Bedford Democrats are eager to elect representatives who will work to create good jobs and expand opportunities for middle class families,” continued Hanauer.” The fight to elect those representatives – strong Democrats up and down the ticket including a Democratic President, begins with the March 4 caucus.”
