Talk on black bears in NH set
David Mills, New Hampshire Fish and Game Wildlife steward, will discuss “Black Bear Happenings in New Hampshire” from 7-8 p.m., Aug. 26, at the Safety Complex, 55 Constitution Drive.
This free presentation offers a chance to learn about the natural history of our native wildlife, research and management activities in the state, and the federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration Program that makes the work possible. The presentations is approximately 30-45 minutes long and there will be time for questions.
Thanks to the support of a federal grant, volunteer stewards are available to present wildlife-related programs statewide. Stewards are volunteers trained to provide presentations aimed at increasing public awareness of the federal Wildlife and Sport Fish Restoration programs.
Seating is limited. Registration deadline is Aug. 20. Contact the Bedford Parks & Recreation Department at 472-5242 or visit www. bedfordreconline.com.
