Bedford’s Primary Bank recognized as NH’s newest SBA Participating Lender
CONCORD – Primary Bank was certified as a Participating Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) on Monday, Aug. 31. In a recognition ceremony at the Bedford offices of Primary Bank, SBA officials Erin Andrew, assistant administrator for Women’s Business Ownership; Greta Johansson, N.H. As an SBA Participating Lender, Primary Bank will be able to offer guaranteed loans to local small businesses through the SBA’s 7a and 504 programs. These loans can be used by their small business clients to support working capital needs, export opportunities, as well as equipment and real estate purchases.
"The SBA is a valuable partner for us in helping our small business customers find the capital they need, " said Bill Stone, President & CEO of Primary Bank. "We look forward to working with our customers and the SBA to help our business clients get the financing they need to support their business objectives."
Primary Bank opened for business this summer with a full array of services to meet business and personal banking needs. Seth Goodall, SBA’s Regional Administrator for New England said, "The SBA welcomes Primary Bank as a participating lender. As New Hampshire’s most recently chartered bank, Bill Stone, John Mercier and the team at Primary Bank have emphasized their mission to serve local businesses by adding SBA lending to their services. Becoming an SBA
lender so shortly after opening is another sign of their dedication and commitment in support of the small businesses and we are honored to have them as a new lending partner."
