Anytime Fitness offers free fitness plan with sign-up

AMHERST – Fall is the time of year when young people head back to school and families start getting back to their routines – including their health and fitness routines, which may have slipped or changed during the summer.

In fact, fitness industry analysts say as many people join gyms during October as in January.

The Anytime Fitness club at 123 Route 101A in Amherst is offering a deal for new members. Anyone who joins the club between Sept. 28 and Oct. 16 will receive a free "Get Started" plan. This plan includes a free fitness consultation and a 30-day fitness plan.

"We understand how difficult it can be to get started on a new routine, no matter how good you know it will be for you," said Jessica Pounds, club manager at Anytime Fitness in Amherst.

"A lot of people also believe that you need to be fit already before joining a fitness club. That’s simply not true. And it’s why we developed our ‘Get Started’ plan, which includes a 30-day personalized workout calendar and guidance from our expert staff to help new members get off to a solid start on their fitness journeys. Every workout plan will be based on the outcome of a comprehensive fitness consultation," she said.
