Celebrating business

CONCORD – Nearly 200 exhibitors – from AAA Northern New England to the Zco Corp. – will be part of central New Hampshire’s Tri-City Expo next week.

The 27th annual business-
to-business networking event will take place from 3-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Radisson Hotel Manchester.

Presented by the chambers of commerce for Nashua, Manchester and Concord, the event typically attracts more than 1,000 visitors, who get a chance to interact with businesses, nonprofits and community organizations, from banks and auto companies to jewelers, hotels and restaurants.

Playing off the theme "Throwback Thursday," the expo invites exhibitors to show off their past successes and look toward the future with innovative products and services, such as interactive websites and social media.

Exhibitors will also compete for awards that include Best in Show and Best in Theme.

All of that networking will work up an appetite, and there will be no shortage of food.

An aisle called The Bistro will feature samples from more than 18 restaurants and other food purveyors, including Ben & Jerry’s, the British Beer Co., Margaritas Mexican Restaurant and the Wolfeboro Inn.

Among the exhibitors from Bedford are TF Moran, CEO Bedford, the Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center, the American Cancer Society and US Cellular.

Merrimack is represented by PC Connection and Kilpatrick IT Solutions.

Texas energy company Kinder Morgan is the event’s "presenting sponsor," and corporate sponsors are Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Liberty Utilities, Merrimack County Savings Bank, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and Comcast Spotlight New England/Comcast Business Class.

In-kind sponsors are 95.7 WZID, 96.5 The Mill, 1370 WFEA, 94.1 & 103.1 Hot Hits, AlphaGraphics, B2B Video Solutions/Treasured Memories Video, Gate City Graphics, Gentle Giant Movers, Radisson Hotel at the Center of New Hampshire, Schall Creative and Spectrum Marketing Cos.
