NH Sportsplex set to become an automotive paradise

BEDFORD – The New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association has announced plans for the third annual NH Auto Show at the NH Sportsplex in Bedford. Scheduled Oct. 23-25, the New Hampshire Auto Show will be produced by Motor Trend Auto Shows, LLC, the nation’s largest auto show producer and part of The Enthusiast Network.

Attendees can expect to see a collection of more than 100 new model vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles and family-style entertainment. The auto show will offer something for everyone, from in-car technology and alternative fuels, to all that is fun on four wheels. Guests are encouraged to sit in the cars, inspect under hoods and talk to local dealers in a non-selling, no pressure environment.

Back again this year is the WMUR Luxury Row. This allows attendees to compare several luxury brands in one location. The hottest luxury cars are sure to be on display including Audi, Acura, BMW, Lexus, Lincoln, Mercedes Benz, Porsche, Volvo and more.

New to the show this year is the Bosch Virtual Reality Simulator. Think you know cars? Try your hand at diagnosing and repairing a virtual vehicle at the Bosch interactive display. Check out more of Bosch’s automotive aftermarket products in their display as well.

The New Hampshire State Police will be on hand displaying their new, limited edition, 2015 black Dodge Charger "ghost" highway patrol car – with subdued markings, e-ticketing, and LED lights. Get up-close and personal with this vehicle before you see it on the road or in your rear-view mirror. Along with the State Police, the New Hampshire Department of Transportation will be offering information on their statewide "Driving Toward Zero" campaign and other state initiatives promoting driver safety.

In addition to all of the new vehicles planned, families can look forward to fun for all ages with special activities. Sunday, Oct. 25 is Manchester Monarchs Family Day – all children age 12 and younger are admitted free when accompanied by a paying adult or active duty military (DOD ID required). Kids can get their face painted, a temporary tattoo and/or receive balloon twisted art between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Bring your camera and get your picture taken with the Manchester Monarchs’ team mascot, Max, between noon and 2 p.m. All attendees can sign-up for a free 12-month subscription to Motor Trend magazine.
